James Tower - Graphic Designer
The responsibilities of a Graphic Designer include creating visual identity systems, print campaigns, designing and architecting websites, email campaigns and presenting during client facing meetings. For the website design, experience with user interface/information architecture and SEO would be a plus. Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate the essential functions of the design job performed.
Required Credentials
Understanding and application of strategic needs in creative
Leadership in improving knowledge and resource base for design solutions
Advanced efficiency and quality in design work
Leadership in developing web, print, multi-media and internet marketing solutions
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through necessary to ensure effectiveness and reduce rework to meet all deadlines
Ability to apply a given budget to projects as well as build potential budgets
Diligent reporting of project status and cost
Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings
Technical Skills
Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and knowledge of CSS, HTML, Flash and Actionscript is a plus but not required.

Daktronics - Qualified Technical Writer Intern
Daktronics is recognized worldwide as a leader in the large electronic display industry. The company designs, manufactures, sells, and services a variety of display products for sports, commercial, and transporation applications.
This position is within the technical writing group. The group provides accurate, quality documentation relading to the operation, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and promotion of Daktronics displays, control equipment, and software.
Duties/Responsibilities
-
Write, assemble, and update technical manuals and quick guides for Daktronics products and procedures
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and sales personnel to produce quality documents
- Study drawings, interview engineers and project managers, take product photos, question manufacturing workers, and read previous documentation to acquire necessary information
- Regularly and reliably work the hours necessary to complete job requirements
