The Lion and the Unicorn is a journal of children's literature and culture that focuses on special issues. General issues are also published from time to time.
The Lion and the Unicorn is published semi-annually in June and December. Beginning with Volume 21, Number 1, the journal will appear three times a year (January, April, and September). Subscription rates are $21.00, individuals; $41.00, institutions. Postage for foreign subscribers is $2.90 for Mexico and Canada; $4.60, all other countries.
