Luke Rolfes is from Polk City, IA, and holds bachelor's degrees in English and Computer Science from Iowa State University. His fiction has appeared in Blue Earth Review and Sketch. He is the 2007 recipient of the Robert C. Wright Award.

Marie Myung-Ok Lee’s novel Somebody’s Daughter was chosen as a Booklist Best Book of the Year. Her fiction has also appeared in The Kenyon Review, Witness, and has been short-listed for the O. Henry awards. She has been a judge for the National Book Awards, a Fulbright Scholar, and MacDowell Colony fellow. She has also published five award-winning young adult novels, including Necessary Roughness, an American Library Association Best Book. She also writes Green Fertility,an eco-health blog, and writes for Natural Health magazine. She is writer-in-residence at Brown University.
